Maxim Polovnikov

A resident of Norilsk. In August 2023, a criminal case was opened against him for the public justification of terrorism over anti-war comments posted on VKontakte. According to a friend, he had already faced problems at work due to his anti-war stance.

On 2 April 2024, Polovnikov was sentenced to two years in a penal colony. Prior to sentencing, he had been under a travel ban.
