On 17 July 2019, a case was opened against Zavrazhnov for organising the activities of an extremist organisation. A preventive measure in the form of a ban on certain actions was elected. In February 2020, it became known that the measure of restraint was changed to a personal recognizance. On 30 May 2022, he was sentenced to six years' suspended sentence.
