On 27 July, the wife of activist Alexander Pravdin accompanied her husband to the police station, where a report on incitement to hatred (Article 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences) was drawn up against him due to the sign "Russians, you are inhumans". Later, she was sent to a psychiatric hospital for a month for an expert examination. According to Pravdin, there she was placed in a supervisory ward where men and women are kept together. She is prescribed unknown drugs, and her husband is prevented from meeting her doctor. During one of the court sessions, Pravdin discovered strangulation marks on her neck. In December 2023, the prosecutor's office returned the case to the investigation.
