Murat Khrachev

Resident of Cherkessk. Master of Sport in boxing, in 2002 - champion of Russia. On 24 November 2014, he was detained on charges of organising activities of an extremist organisation due to his involvement in the activities of the Islamic movement Tablighi Jamaat. Its adherents are persecuted solely because of religious activities. On 14 May 2015, Hrachev was sentenced to three years' suspended sentence.
