Murat Mustafayev

Mustafayev is Muslim and a Crimean Tatar. On 11th of August 2022, Mustafayev's home was searched. He was taken into custody on charges of participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation, as well as in preparation for a violent seizure of power. He pleaded guilty and signed a pre-trial agreement with the investigation. The court, having examined the case under special procedure, sentenced Mustafayev to four years in a strict regime penal colony on 18th of April 2023.
