Natalia Ignatieva

A resident of Komsomolsk-on-Amur. In June 2009, a case of incitement to hatred was brought against her because of her public reading of the poem "A Last Wish to the 'Ivans'". In July 2010, the case was dropped due to lack of corpus delicti. In September 2023 it became known that a case of involvement in the activities of an extremist organisation was brought against Ignatieva. Later it was reported that the case also includes a charge of participation in the activities of an extremist organisation. On 10 March 2025, Ignatieva was sentenced to 5 years 6 months’ imprisonment in a general regime penal colony.
