Natalia Rezontova

Journalist, tour guide, editor, amateur artist. In 2020, she came second in the election to the City Duma from Yabloko, losing in her district to a candidate from United Russia. On 30 January 2021, Rezontova's home was searched in a case of violation of sanitary and epidemiological rules in connection with an action in support of Alexei Navalny on 23 January. On 1 March Rezontova was charged, the next day a preventive measure was chosen in the form of a prohibition of certain actions. On 24 March 2022 Rezontova's preventive measure was toughened by placing her under house arrest. On 12 August, she was again ordered to prohibit certain actions. On 14 November Rezontova was sentenced to one and a half years of restrictions on freedom.
