Natalia Voropaeva

A hairdresser from Krasnoyarsk. In 2018, she was searched and later questioned as a witness in the case of Jehovah's Witness Andrei Stupnikov. In September 2022, she was brought as a defendant in the case of organising activities of an extremist organisation due to her involvement in the Jehovah's Witnesses community. Representatives of this community are prosecuted under extremist articles solely because of their religious activities - holding meetings and worship services and attracting new supporters. In January 2023, the case was brought to court. On 24 March 2023 Voropaeva was sentenced to a fine of 360 thousand rubles.
