He owns a furniture-making workshop and is a keen sports tourist. He was accused of using violence against a representative of the authorities at a rally in support of Alexei Navalny on 31 January 2021. As he pleaded guilty, the case was considered under special procedure. On 1 April he was sentenced to a fine of 25,000 rubles.
