Former leader of the Union of Right Forces party and former governor of Kirov region. On 24 June 2016, he was detained, according to the investigation, while receiving a bribe. The next day Belykh was taken into custody. On 28 July 2016, President Putin removed him from the governor's office. On 26 December 2023, he was sentenced to two and a half years in prison in this case, but was released from punishment due to the expiration of the statute of limitations. On 21 June 2024, Belykh was released. On 8 July 2024, the appeal court acquitted Belykh of abuse of power.
