Nikolay Buchnev

A resident of Nalchik. A case was brought against him for discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and in September 2024 it went to court. The reason was the publication of a certain audio recording in which, according to the prosecution, "the actions of the Russian military" in Ukraine "are characterised as violent, criminal, associated with murder and torture". He has been listed twice before as an extremist and terrorist by Rosfinmonitoring, details unknown. On 1 October 2024, Buchnev was given a one-year suspended sentence.
