Nikolay Daineko

Daineko was detained on September 25, 2022 during the "Mayakovsky Readings" on Triumfalnaya Square, a protocol was drawn up against him on violation of the procedure for holding a public event (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The next day, the court fined him 20 thousand rubles, after which he was taken to the Investigative Committee. On September 28, the court sent Daineko into custody. At first, he was charged with inciting hatred with the threat of violence (paragraph "a" part 2 of article 282 of the Criminal Code), but then the charge was reclassified as inciting hatred by an organized group (paragraph "c" part 2 of article 282 of the Criminal Code), and also added accusation of calls for activities directed against the security of the state, committed by an organized group (part 3 of article 280.4 of the Criminal Code). Daineko entered into an agreement with the investigation. On May 10, 2023, he was sentenced to four years in a penal colony.
