He lived in St. Petersburg and worked in logistics. In October 2022, his company accepted an order to deliver construction film from Armavir to Simferopol. On 8 October, after learning about the explosion on the Crimean Bridge, he suggested that the car he had arranged for transporting the film might have been involved. Antipov went to the FSB to report this, saying he could assist the investigation. On 14 October, officers came to his home and took him to Moscow, where he was placed in custody. Soon afterwards, the investigators stopped communicating with Antipov and refused to take additional testimony from him. The first interrogation after a long break took place on 17 February 2023. He was questioned about alleged ties to Ukrainian security services and whether he had any money, property, relatives, or friends in Ukraine. Shortly after Oleg was transferred to the pre-trial detention centre, he was placed in a disciplinary cell. He does not know why: he was not given any documents to sign, was not informed which internal regulations he had allegedly violated, and was not asked for an explanation. Oleg spent 21 days in the disciplinary cell. Earlier, in an interview with Meduza, his wife said he suffered from dehydration there and lost seven kilograms - his cellmates later “fattened him up.” The investigator has banned Antipov from receiving visits or making phone calls. Initially, Antipov was charged with carrying out a terrorist attack as part of an organised group, resulting in significant damage. The charge was later reclassified to a terrorist attack committed by an organised group that resulted in loss of life. He was also accused of transporting explosives. On 27 November 2025, Antipov was sentenced to life imprisonment.
