Resident of Almetyevsk, supporter of Vyacheslav Maltsev, In October 2017, he came to Moscow after learning that Maltsev was calling for participation in the 5 November revolution. Detained late in the evening of 1 November in a rented flat. According to Ivanov, he and other detainees were held for about an hour and a half on the floor with the balcony open, stripped to the waist, after which it was discovered that Molotov cocktails had been found in the flat. Ivanov claims that they had been planted in the flat. The next day the court arrested Ivanov for 15 days under the administrative article on disobedience to the lawful order of authorities. On 17 November Ivanov was taken into custody on the charges of participation in a terrorist community and preparation of a terrorist act. Four people were detained in the flat, but only three of them appear in the case, the fourth - Vadim Mayorov - disappeared immediately after the detainees were taken out of the flat. Shortly before his detention, Mayorov suggested the use of weapons and methods of conspiracy on 5 November, making Ivanov and other defendants in the case consider him a provocateur. In January 2019, the court granted the prosecutor's office's motion and dropped the charge of participation in a terrorist community. On 22 January, sentenced to seven years in a strict regime penal colony. Presumably released on 1 November 2024.
