Oleg Kashintsev

Former policeman from Yaroslavl. Left Russia. On 9 March 2022, a case was brought against him for disseminating knowingly false information about the Russian Armed Forces. In May 2022, he was put on the wanted list and arrested in absentia. Later, it became known that he had his bank accounts seized. Interpol refused to fulfil Russia's request for Kashintsev's extradition. On 27 January 2023, a court sentenced him in absentia to eight years in a penal colony and deprivation of rank. In March 2024, the former policeman was included in the register of "foreign agents".
