Oleg Kharaim

A resident of the Stavropol region, accused of participation in the "Right Sector" together with fellow-countryman Vadim Kartashov. They were detained by the Federal Security Service and police officers. The investigation materials formed the basis of the criminal case initiated on 28 April 2021 by the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the North Caucasus Federal District. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation completed the investigation on 14 March 2022. The committee did not specify what kind of "prohibited activity" the Stavropol resident was carrying out. According to the investigation, Kharaim and Kartashov were induced to participate in the "Right Sector" by Oleg Skidanov (sentenced to six years' imprisonment in a general regime colony). On 15 March, the case was transferred to court. On 5 July, the court announced a guilty verdict - three years in a general regime colony. Presumably, Kharaim was released in February 2024.
