Oleg Kolesov

He was a resident of Rostov region, working as a masseur. A case was brought against him for organising activities of an extremist organisation due to his involvement in a movement of "citizens of the USSR", which did not have a strict structure but represented disparate groups of people denying the collapse of the USSR. On 16 August 2024, he was sentenced to seven and a half years in a penal colony, followed by a one-year restriction of freedom and a ten-year ban on engaging in activities related to the organisation of public associations.
