He is a Ukrainian businessman who became famous for a video with an appeal to Zelensky and the phrase “Vova, fuck them, fuck them!”. In October 2023, he was arrested in absentia, and in November he was declared wanted in a case of incitement to hatred for “anti-Russian” videos. Witnesses for the prosecution in the case were Victoria Zelimkhanova, a member of the patriotic youth association Volunteer Batallion, and Sergei Semenov, a member of the Cossack society, who allegedly accidentally saw Povoroznyuk’s video on Telegram.
