A resident of the city of Makhachkala. She sold traditional medicine products, bio-products, soap, shampoos, and oils. According to her sister, she was registered as a "Russian Muslim". Petrova married the imprisoned R. Magomazov. On 13 August 2020, when she was visiting her mother in Krasnodar Krai, she was detained and then sent to custody on charges of financing terrorist activities. According to the version of the investigation, Petrova transferred money to ISIS. At least two witnesses in the case who testified against her recanted their testimony in court, including Sagid Kazimagomedov, to whose bank card Petrova, according to the investigation, transferred money. Both he and the other witness were in prison at the time of the investigation in Petrova's case. Kazimagomedov stated in court that his card was used by his wife, who traded in "Muslim goods". Kazimagomedov's wife confirmed that she corresponded with Petrova about goods from her husband's page and that Petrova bought goods from her. On 28 December 2021, Petrova was sentenced to seven years in a general regime colony.
