According to the FSB version, Andreev was engaged in projects aimed at violating the territorial integrity and constitutional order of Russia.
On 20 October 2025, the telegram channel "Ostorozhno, Novosti" reported that, according to the investigation, Andreev was engaged in "decolonial activities" in the interests of the representative of Denmark and worked in the organisation "Platform of Civil, Anti-War and Humanitarian Initiatives", which cooperates with European authorities and, in particular, works on the creation of a "society of deserters in Armenia". However, according to the Telegram channel, Andreev was not connected with the "Platform of Civil, Anti-War and Humanitarian Initiatives", and the investigation confused him with his namesake, a former organiser of entertainment events in Ulyanovsk Pavel Andreev.
