Pavel Green-Romanov

Was employed as an administrator at a computer club.

In February 2021, he was detained and on 4 February was taken into custody by court order on charges of using violence against a representative of the authorities at a rally in support of Aleksei Navalny on 31 January. Initially, Green-Romanov was charged with the use of violence not dangerous to life and health, then reclassified as dangerous. On 9 April, he was sentenced to three and a half years in a general regime colony. On 20 July, the court of appeal reduced the sentence by six months.

Pavel claims that at the action on 31 January he tried to protect his wife and admitted his guilt in spraying the spray can at the rosgvargiya serviceman, partially, as due to the lowered visor the latter could not suffer any harm to health.

In April, Grin-Romanov was transferred to a colony in Perm Krai until the appeal is heard. Because of this, he has no opportunity to meet with his lawyers and relatives, nor can he familiarise himself with the case materials in court.

On 10 November 2023, Grin-Romanov was released.
