Pavel Mezerin

Mezerin is a political scientist and coordinator of the Free Ingria movement, which advocates for autonomy rights for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. In February 2023, he was included in the register of "foreign agents". He allegedly participated in hostilities on the side of Ukraine. In January 2025, Mezerin was placed on the wanted list; the specific charges remain unknown. On 8 April 2025, he was added to Rosfinmonitoring's list of extremists and terrorists, with a designation indicating prosecution under terrorist-related articles.
