Petrov Konstantin Anatolievich

A resident of Izhevsk, founder of HEY DAY, a company that sells coffee machines. In May 2024, a case was brought against him for insulting the memory of defenders of the Fatherland because of a video after a tour of the Murmansk region. The video was brought to the attention of the head of the "Safe Internet League" Ekaterina Mizulina and the head of the Murmansk region Andrei Chibis. Local telegram channel "Region 51" says that when Petrov was travelling in a passing car from Teriberka, a local resident came up to the driver and "on behalf of the entire Murmansk region" demanded to drop the passenger from the car, telling him about his video. The driver agreed. Later, Mizulina published a video of Petrov, shot against the background of a cage for detainees - probably at the police station. In it, the man expresses regrets about the publication of the video and apologises to "veterans of the Great Patriotic War and current special military operations". On 3 May 2024, Petrov was arrested for 10 days under an administrative article on petty hooliganism. In August 2024, it became known that the criminal case against Petrov was terminated due to the absence of corpus delicti.
