Ragnar Rein

Lived in Magadan, in 2018 was a coordinator of the local "people's" headquarters of Alexei Navalny. Moved to Kaliningrad, where he participated in protests. He ran for election to the city council of Kaliningrad, but the election commission withdrew his candidacy "due to involvement in extremist organisations", referring to the Anti-Corruption Foundation, which had by then been recognised as extremist. A case was brought against Rein for calling for activities against the security of the Russian Federation. In September 2025, the case went to court.
