Ramazan Mkhtse

Resident of Cherkessk, left Russia. Lawyer, member of organisations devoted to the preservation of the Abazi ethnos. He spoke out against the war. He was prosecuted for spreading deliberately false information about the Russian Armed Forces because of a video on his YouTube channel titled "It's time to change something! No to War!", published in February of 2023.

In September of 2025, the case went to court. On 2nd of December, the court sentenced Mkhtse in absentia to eight years' imprisonment in a general regime colony.
