Rinat Mamaev

Detained on 4 February 2015 together with 30 other suspects for participation in the activities of Hizb ut-Tahrir, arrested on charges of participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation; pleaded guilty, transferred to house arrest. On 22 December 2016, he was sentenced to four and a half years' suspended sentence. On 9 March 2017, the Supreme Court commuted the suspended sentence to four years in a general regime penal colony. He was released in February 2019.
