Roman Khrenov

On 4 March 2011, operative officers of the North-West Federal District Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the District Centre for Combating Extremism searched Khrenov's house. After the search, he was declared a suspect in the evening. Following interrogation, he signed a non-deportation undertaking. On 11 March 2011, he was charged under part 2 of article 282.2 of the Criminal Code (participation in the activities of an extremist organisation). On 28 December 2012, he was sentenced to a fine of 150,000 roubles, but released from punishment due to the expiry of the statute of limitations.
