Roman Koemets

A resident of Pevek, who had no previous convictions, was sentenced to four years in a penal colony for sending a portrait of Hitler in a WhatsApp chat room on 9 May 2021. He was also found guilty of unlawful entry into a dwelling (he was walking along the street, someone shouted something offensive from the balcony and he went to clarify relations with those who shouted).
