In January 2022, a criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Article 148 of the Criminal Code, pertaining to the offence of insulting the religious sentiments of believers. On May 25, 2022, a justice of the peace from the judicial district No. 410 in the Meshchansky district of Moscow terminated the criminal case and prosecution, citing the reconciliation of the parties.
