Roman Nasryev

A resident of the town of Bakal, a member of the postpunk band Room32, worked as a driver for the Rosgvardiya. He was detained on a charge of arson of a military recruiting office. In a pre-trial detention centre, he said that he committed the arson as a protest against the war and mobilisation. The case was at first initiated under the article on damaging property, but then reclassified as a terrorist act. Later, Nasryev was also accused of taking terrorist training. On April 10th, 2023, he was sentenced to 19 years in a strict regime penal colony.
