Rustem Khamzin

Detained on 4 February 2015 together with 30 other suspects for participation in the activities of "Hizb ut-Tahrir", arrested on charges of participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation; in January 2016 he was also charged with preparation for a violent seizure of power. On 30 July 2018, he was sentenced to 23 years in a strict regime penal colony.

In 2014, he was a suspect in a case of involvement in an extremist organisation.
