Rustem Osmanov

According to the investigation, on 14 April 2022, Osmanov was detained while trying to pass the Armyansk border checkpoint. According to his own words, on 15 April 2022, 12 Russian servicemen armed with automatic rifles broke into his house in the village of Kalanchak, Kherson region. Osmanov was beaten, handcuffed and put a bag over his head, loaded into a lorry and taken to the border with Crimea. At the border Osmanov was taken to a caravan where, according to him, they threatened to kill him and his family and forced him to sign a confession. After that, he was taken to the FSS in Simferopol, where he was tortured with electric shocks, beaten and again threatened that they would kill his relatives. On 4 August, Osmanov was sentenced to six years in a strict regime colony.
