Biography
He is a former coordinator of Alexei Navalny’s headquarters in Novosibirsk and deputy of the Novosibirsk City Council. He has left Russia. Tatiana Sazonova, an aide to a State Duma deputy, demanded that a libel case be initiated against Boiko after he claimed that a 100-year-old World War II veteran had died of a coronavirus after visiting her.

In January 2026, the RBC and Kommersant newspapers reported that Boiko had been sentenced in absentia to 400 hours of compulsory labour in a case of evading his duties as a “foreign agent”.
