A resident of the Kherson region of Ukraine, an automobile foreman (according to other sources - the head of fishing production). On 8 (according to other sources - 19) July 2022, he was detained and then kept in the basement. He said that he was tortured, in particular, with electric shocks, beaten, his hands were clamped with a door, and needles were put under his fingernails. For seven days he hung on the bars. On 6 October 2022, he was transported to Simferopol, before which he was forced to sign several sheets, the contents of which were hidden from him. In Simferopol he was officially placed in custody. On 14 October, he was transferred to Moscow. Heydt was accused of attempted commission of an act of international terrorism and participation in the activities of a terrorist community. During the investigation, he confessed, in particular, that he had personally informed the occupation administration of Kherson that an assassination attempt was being prepared on its employee Aleksei Kovalev. Later at the trial, he retracted this testimony, saying that he gave it under threat of beating and harming his wife and daughter. At the trial, he also noted that the addresses and names of the villages given in the information about the witnesses with whose participation the documents were drawn up did not exist. On 26 January 2026, Heydt was sentenced to 17 years in a strict regime colony.
