Sergei Kornilevsky

A theatre professional and a journalist of the state television company of the Jewish Autonomous Region. He was detained presumably on February 15, 2024. He told an acquaintance that the charge against him was a post about mobilization published on Facebook in 2022. The next day Kornilevsky was placed in custody. Later it became known that the criminal charges were based on a comment about Ruslan Zinin, who shot a military commander in Ust-Ilimsk. On May 8, 2024, Kornilevsky was sentenced to two and a half years in prison.
