Sergei Piskarev

A resident of the village of Nerchinskii Zavod (Zabaykalsky Krai). He was involved in a fight with a group of people, one of whom was a participant in the war in Ukraine, former PMC Wagner fighter Mikhail Taskin. A criminal case was opened against him not only for causing minor injury and damage to property, but also for discrediting the use of the Armed Forces. According to "Siberia.Realii", the beating of Taskin was not related to his participation in the war in Ukraine. According to the publication, in 2019, Taskin was found guilty of attempted premeditated murder of two or more people and sentenced to 9 years in a strict regime colony, from where he was recruited to the PMC Wagner. In a cafe, Taskin met one of the people he had tried to shoot, after which he himself provoked a fight. On 20 September 2024, Piskarev was sentenced to seven years in a strict regime colony, as he had a prior criminal record. On 3 February 2025, the court of appeal reduced the sentence by a year. According to the Politzek.org project, while in the colony, Piskarev signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense and went to war, where he died in the spring of 2025.
