Biography
A resident of Zaporozhye region (Ukraine). He was detained and taken into custody in connection with the arson of the building of the administration building of Novobohdanivka rural settlement of Melitopol district of the region, occupied by the Russian army. The arson occurred in June 2022, Popov was a minor at the time. A case was brought against him for committing an act of international terrorism because of the arson and for desecration of the Russian flag because he, according to the investigation, tore the flag off the wall of the building and threw it on the ground.
