Biography
In July 2020, Bespalov was reported to have been prosecuted for inflicting harm of medium severity: Irina Rodzievskaya, an activist of the pro-Kremlin People's Liberation Movement (PLM), claimed that Bespalov had beaten her on 14 April 2020. The activist and her associates claim that he did not beat Rodzievskaya, but that she herself repeatedly approached him and provoked a conflict on that day. The city police conducted an investigation based on Rodzievskaya's statement that lasted three months. After that, Bespalov was informed that had not found any corpus delicti in his actions. However, the case documents were then handed over to the regional department, after which the case was eventually initiated. On 12 February 2021, Bespalov was sentenced to one year and eight months of restricted freedom. Bespalov left Russia.
In November 2022, iBespalov was reported to have been put on the wanted list of extremists and terrorists by Rosfinmonitoring. On 1 December, the court arrested him in absentia in a case of organising the activities of an extremist community.
