On June 18, 2019, he was detained after a search and spent two days in a temporary detention facility. Charges were brought against organizing the activities of an extremist organization and a written undertaking not to leave the place was taken. In March 2020, the prosecutor's office returned the case for further investigation. On November 30, 2022, he was sentenced to six years probation.
