Sergey Shiryaev

Resident of Moscow. On 15 August 2022, he was detained as part of a case of financing an extremist organisation - the reason was a transfer to the account of the Anti-Corruption Foundation. The law enforcers found out Shiryaev's identity due to a technical glitch: the transfer was made after the FBK was recognised as an extremist organisation, and the donors' data had not been concealed. On 26 December 2022, Shiryaev was sentenced to a fine of 500 thousand rubles.
