Biography
He served in the special forces of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine and headed a battalion based in Crimea. He took part in the suppression of the Maidan protests in 2013. After the occupation of Crimea, he began serving in the Interior Ministry of Russia, then in the navy; he was the commander of a division of boats in a training unit in Buryatia, then served in a Murmansk military unit. Later he resigned. In autumn 2024, Solomko was taken into custody on charges of attempted purchase of explosives. He was later accused of confidential co-operation with foreigners. In June
