Sergey Sviridov

Resident of Altai Krai. He was detained in 2024 and accused of preparing a terrorist attack at a Ministry of Defence facility at the behest of the Russian Freedom Legion. According to him, this happened after a certain casual acquaintance offered him to earn money and advised him to send data to a certain chat room in Telegram, after which Sviridov was sent instructions on how to make a Molotov cocktail. He went to meet this acquaintance, where he was detained. Sviridov was taken into custody, and a case was brought against him for attempted commission of a terrorist act, training for terrorist activity, participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation, and confidential cooperation with a foreign organisation. On 26 August 2024, he was sentenced to 18 years in a strict regime colony.
