Shakir Kozhamkulov

Detained on 22 December 2016 together with six other people on suspicion of involvement in Tablighi Jamaat, arrested. The investigation considers him to be the organiser of the cell. On 17 September 2018, sentenced to six and a half years in a general regime colony. In March 2022, Kozhamkulov was deprived of Russian citizenship. He was released in April 2022, after which he was immediately detained on charges of violating migration laws. The court decided to fine him and expel him from the country.
