Biography
The case was initiated because Magomedov had posted the text of "The Book of Tawhid" by Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab on the FlyLinkDC++ file-sharing network. The book is included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials and recognised as information prohibited for distribution in the Russian Federation. In addition, according to the Prosecutor's Office of Dagestan, he had illegally acquired and stored 40 rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition; the case was referred to the court.
On 21 August 2015, he was sentenced to one year in prison.
