Biography
Svetlana Prokopyeva, a journalist from Pskov, was subjected to a search on 6 February 2019, after which she was taken for questioning and released as a suspect in a case involving the justification of terrorism. The investigation was triggered by her radio programme about the explosion at the Federal Security Service (FSB) office in Arkhangelsk. She was subsequently issued a non-travel restriction. On 24 December 2019, it was reported that the prosecutor's office had returned the case for further investigation. On 6 July 2020, the court sentenced Prokopyeva to a fine of 500 thousand roubles.
