Detained during the seizure of the Foreign Ministry reception room, on the night of 2 to 3 July, she was sentenced by the Presnensky District Court of Moscow under part 1 of article 19.3 ("Disobedience to a lawful order or demand of a police officer") and article 20.1 ("Petty hooliganism") of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation to 5 days of administrative arrest. Under the criminal case initiated at the same time, several participants of the action were sentenced to various punishments. The case was considered closed due to the expiration of the statute of limitations (for crimes of minor gravity it is two years - i.e. from 2 July 2010), but on 23 January 2012 in the morning two police officers accompanied by Alexei Okopny, an operative of the Centre for Countering Extremism, came to Kharlamova's flat and stated that she was on the federal wanted list and he had the authority to detain her (a few days earlier she had been declared wanted by investigator Andrei Bychkov). After that, Kharlamova was taken for questioning to the prosecutor's office of the Central Administrative District of Moscow in a criminal case on the activities of the banned National Bolshevik Party. She had a one and a half year old child at home. The interrogation lasted 6 hours, after which Kharlamova was released on her own recognisance. The investigation authorities explained the fact that the case was not closed due to the expiration of the statute of limitations by the fact that the statute of limitations had been suspended due to the fact that Kharlamova allegedly evaded the investigation. Sentenced to a fine of 20,000 roubles

Earlier in 2009, Tatyana Kharlamova, together with Igor Shchuka, had already been sentenced to 10 months in prison for distributing an anti-Chinese leaflet at the opening of the Far Eastern International Economic Forum in Khabarovsk in 2008. They were released in the courtroom as they had already served their sentences.
