Timur Uzbekov

On 14th of October 2014 Uzbekov was detained during a search in his apartment and, on 15th of October he was arrested together with seven other people on charges of participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation due to alleged involvement in the Islamist party Hizb ut-Tahrir, the members of which have never committed a terrorist attack. On 8th of December 2017, he was sentenced to 18 years in a strict regime penal colony.
