Tomoko Akane

A judge of the International Criminal Court, its President since March 2024. She was accused of illegal detention and attempted assault on an internationally protected person in connection with the prosecution of Putin and Maria Lvova-Belova, Commissioner for Children's Rights. On December 12, 2025, Akane was sentenced in absentia to imprisonment.
