A case was brought against him for participation in the activities of an extremist organisation: according to the investigation, he was "a supporter of the international LGBT movement and posted comments "promoting non-traditional sexual relations". On 8 December 2025, the man was sentenced to two and a half years' imprisonment in a general regime colony.
