Biography
A resident of the Reftinsky village (Sverdlovsk region), an ammonia-cooling machine operator at a poultry farm, mother of two children. On 14 March 2024, she was detained and then taken into custody on charges of preparing for a terrorist attack, undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities and high treason. According to the prosecution's version, she planned to set fire to a military recruitment centre in Yekaterinburg on the instructions of an employee of the Ukrainian project "I Want to Live". In June 2025, the court sentenced Marchenko to 20 years in colony. In December, on appeal, her sentence was increased to 21 years.
